Honda is has been leading not only on domestic front but also on tracks as well, including motor sports like, Motorcycle Race, Super Bike Race, Formula One, Formula Two, IndyCar, and various Grand Prix as well. Here are some important Honda Car racing milestones.Formula One history is incomplete without the amazing Honda cars. The first Honda car racing team entered in the Formula One in 1964. Rubens Barrichello was the driver for this team and they were in the top ten from the first year. During the German Grand Prix, Ronnie Bucknum was the driver and they also score decent time too. In 1967 Honda team scored first win from the Belgian Grand Prix. The driver of this car was John Surtees. During the first months the team won the Mexican Grand Prix in 1967.The Year 1968 was important in Honda racing history as well. The team won the Italian blepharoplasty Grand Prix first and then the luck turned around. The team lost one their valuable member driver Jo Schlesser. He was killed instantly during the French Grand Prix. This was a low point in Honda history not only the team lost a valuable member, but their car business also suffered loses. The result of the decision was made to remove Honda from participating and regrouping for the year.The Honda team also took part successfully in other racing events as well including the Formula two. Team Honda won the French Formula two for two years in row in 1965 and 1966 as well. During the 80s Honda cars participated in various Formula 2 events and performed consistently too. The Honda team produced special engine for the Brabham-Honda turbo in the IndyCar as well. During the Pocono Grand Prix, the team also produced car for the Bobby Rahall as well.
